Programs

Through our relationship with  Burlington Parks, Rec & Waterfront, Branch Out Burlington!  maintains a community tree nursery, supplying trees to plant along our city streets and in public parks. BOB! is a unique community resource for tree stewardship, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities. The Burlington Tree Nursery, and the Community Tree Keeper Program programs ensure the preservation of our urban forest and continued care and upkeep of trees in Burlington’s neighborhoods.  Volunteers also coordinate educational events such as the Annual Tree Walk and the Awesome Tree Contest to increase public awareness of the value and beauty of trees and expand peoples’ knowledge of how to care for them.
