2016 Tree Walk
Greenmount Cemetery Tree Walk
Branch Out Burlington and the Burlington Cemetery Commission present a free walk through Greenmount Cemetery, Saturday, June 11, 10 am. The walk will feature significant trees in the cemetery, as well as several monuments of prominent Burlingtonians and Vermonters of the past 3 centuries. We will walk through the cemetery and hear from a number of people about aspects of the trees and memorials that make this cemetery special. Refreshments provided; rain or shine.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PARKING: Greenmount Cemetery is located at 339 Colchester Avenue, just past the north entrance to Centennial Field, on the same side of the road. Parking at the cemetery is very limited. We encourage carpooling, bike riding, taking the bus, or other ways to get to the Cemetery, which is located. Limited parking will be available nearby – please check back closer to the beginning of June. Questions?
