2019 Tree Walk

Branch Out Burlington’s Annual Tree Walk is at the UVM Hort Farm this year!

Every year Branch Out Burlington! sponsors a tree walk in June. Our 2019 tree walk takes place at the University of Vermont Horticultural Research Center (a.k.a. the “UVM Hort Farm”) in South Burlington, on Saturday, June 8th at 10:00 a.m. The walk will start in front of the building at the Horticulture Center, which is located at 65 Green Mountain Drive (off Shelburne Road, behind GE Health Care (formerly known as IDX, and behind Heritage Toyota/Ford).  Turn at Green Mountain Drive or IDX Road and follow the signs.

Everyone is welcome. This is an easy walk and takes approximately two hours. V.J. Comai, Burlington city arborist, will talk about the interesting specimen trees at the Research Center, assist in learning about tree identification, with plenty of time for questions.

This event is also sponsored by Burlington Department of Parks, Recreation and Waterfront. For more information contact V.J. Comai at 862-8245, or Margaret Skinner at 656-5440.

Admission is free, and donations to Branch Out Burlington! are welcome. Please leave your dogs at home.
